We are excited to share that the congregational meeting on
Sunday resulted in a unanimous vote to approve the phase 2 ministry center
expansion plans! The expansion will
provide much needed ministry space with 4 additional classrooms, an office
space for up to 8 staff, a youth commons area/safe shelter area, new prayer
room and additional storage.
The next step is for an architectural agreement to be completed
between our architect, Gary Nielsen with Nielsen, Mayne Architecture. Once completed, Gary and his team will move
into the project design phase.
Throughout this time, the building team will meet regularly with Gary to
review and discuss design details.
Preparations for submitting the National Covenant Properties
loan application will also begin and can be submitted after construction bids
are received. This is targeted for early
to mid-summer. Lord willing, a ground
breaking will occur this fall!
Praise God for this opportunity to continue on the amazing
adventure to reach, teach and unleash committed followers for Jesus.
